Fall Clothing Wishlist

Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love all the clothing pieces that I can wear in the fall. Plus the fall colors are especially one of the best trends that are guaranteed during these months. Keep reading to see the staple clothing items I want in my closet this fall.

Oversized Sweaters-Last fall I bought a couple of shirts that were oversize and I fell in love. This fall I want my entire collection to be oversized sweaters. I love how cozy the sweaters are. I can throw on the top with ripped jeans, a skirt, and even leggings. Burgundy, brown, black, and blue are perfect colors to wear this fall.

Oversized Cardigan- Another staple piece I want in my fall collection, is oversized cardigans. The oversized cardigans are different than the oversized sweaters. I can pair a basic shirt with and oversized cardigan. I love how you can dress the outfit up by adding a cute necklace or a scarf. Or I can wear a cardigan, a shirt, and pair it with leggings.

Patagonia Vest-This has been on my wishlist for a couple of years now. I want something from Patagonia so badly. Only thing stopping me from buying something from the brand is the price. I can not see myself spending the prices for certain items of clothing. However, the brand is such nice quality and the items I want are essential and staple pieces. I love their vest and how they are furry, plus have pockets.

Leggings- A pair of thick leggings that are perfect for the cool weather is one of my top essentials this fall. Many mornings I have early classes and don’t want to take time to find an outfit. Throwing on leggings and shirt is the perfect go to outfit.

Leather Jacket-I have a leather jacket that I wear often, however, the quality of the jacket could be better. There are some items that spending more for it is actually worth it. I hope to invest in a nicer quality black leather jacket. I do not mind spending $100+ of this  item, just because I know that I would actually wear it, I want it, and it is a staple to my collection.

Black Ripped Jeans-I have been wanting a pair of black ripped jeans for the longest. I have yet to find a pair anywhere. Jeans are probably the number one bottom I wear. My favorite style of jeans is blue ripped jeans. I can’t wait to own a black pair.

Fall Beauty Wishlist

I cannot believe fall is here!! Fall & Winter are my favorite two months. So many holidays and events take place during these months. Especially my birthday!! Fall makeup is my favorite. I love the colors and shade range that comes out. I tend to buy more makeup in the fall than any other season. Keep reading to see the beauty products that I’m wishing to get this fall.

Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes– In September, Too Faced launched more products to their ‘Peaches & Cream Collection’. Most of my eyeshadow palettes contain both mattes & shimmery eyeshadow. I do not own an eyeshadow palette with just mattes. I am very interested to see how you can create an entire eye look with just mattes. The colors in the palette are beautiful and look very pigmented. I love the oranges and browns the palette contains. Perfect for fall.

fall-2017_fenty-beauty_011_promo.jpgFenty Beauty Gloss Bomb-Rihanna’s beauty collection was a hit, right when it came out. There is such a diversity in shades that everyone is going to find their color. Out of everything in her collection, the gloss stood out to me. The shade would look great on all skin tones and is a color that I could see myself wearing this fall. I definitely think this will become a staple in my collection.

Chanel Gabrielle Eau de Parfum-I’m not to quick to put perfume on my list, just because I have a lot of perfumes. However, I haven’t bought a nice perfume in about two years. I love treating myself and lately I’ve been wanting to try a new high end perfume. The last high end perfume I bought was from Marc Jacobs. I fell in love with the scent, plus it lasted me a long time. I have never owned a Chanel Perfume and have been wanting to try one for the longest. This scent is perfect for the fall/winter months. This fall I have a lot of professional meetings and I can’t wait for that to be a reason to wear this scent.

O.P.I Nail Polish– I love having my nails done. I go to the nail salon every 3-4 weeks. However, being a college student, this is an expensive habit to keep up with. I have decided that I will start doing my own nails to save some money. OPI is one of my favorite nail polish brands. The quality is amazing and the polish last for a long time. The color I want to try is ‘Turn On The Northern Lights’. This shimmery blue, purple is perfect for the fall/winter. I love how there is sparkles in the polish. I don’t tend to polish my nails dark colors, however, I love this shade so much.

Colourpop Clear Brow Gel– I love brow gel! I normally don’t fill in my eyebrows so I need something to keep my brows tamed & in place throughout the day. I normally use the Ulta Brow Gel. However, I have been through 4 of these gels and want to try something new. I love how Colourpop is very affordable. Every product I have from the brand is amazing. I hope the brow gel is just as good.

How to Make Money from your Phone

Did you know you could make money from your phone? As an upcoming college student, I have had to learn how to balance my budget but also find ways to make money as well. I have finally found the best ways I can make easy fast money. Check them out below!!

Money from the grocery store/Walking into a store/Scanning your receipt:

Ibotta-This app is the rebate queen without having to mail in the rebate. The app is super easy to use and is worth it! All you do is find products that you purchased in store, snap a picture of your receipt, and earn. You can find rebates from stores like: Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Old Navy, and even Sephora (for my makeup lovers). YOU EVEN EARN $5 FOR JUST SIGNING UP!!!! Use my code UMHXBHV

Checkout51-Another rebate app! Unlike Ibotta, you don’t have to choose a store. Just find the products and take a picture of your receipt. I love this app, because you get a check instead of a gift card. Real Money!!

Shopkick– If scanning grocery’s and taking pictures of receipts isn’t for you, then just walking into a store and clicking this app is for you! Super Easy! You earn points called “kicks” for walking through the door of select stores. Once you earn enough kicks you cash your credits out for gift cards to places like: Target, Amazon, Apple, Walmart, and Nike. This one can earn you gift cards pretty fast. Click here to sign up

Receipt Hog- This app is by far my favorite app to make quick easy money. All you have to do is take a picture of any receipt. ANY RECEIPT!!! I can’t say enough good things about this app. You can only earn Amazon or Paypal gift cards. I have cashed out many times on this app.

Shopping online & instore

Ebates– This site is the real deal. This site has been featured on news shows, online, and even commercials. I love love love this site. Screen Shot 2015-12-30 at 12.38.27 PMBasically you get paid whenever you shop online. The sites has thousands of brands to choose from: Macys, Victoria’s Secret, Nordstrom, Gap, and much more. All you have to do is search on the website for the store you are shopping at and click the link (which takes you straight to the website) and shop! Literally the easiest way to make money! You can either be paid through a check or gift cards. I have only been paid three times(via check) and am currently about to get another (check).

    Taking Surveys/Watching Videos

    2. Swag bucks– I think this is #1 on everyone’s list. This site is literally amazing. You can do so many things to earn points which later can be redeemed for sweepstakes or gift cards. You however do not receive actual dollar bills or checks. Swagbucks runs off a point system.  I have received around 13 gift cards from Swagbucks. When I got my first gift card I thought it would come in the mail and take forever. However, within a day I received an egift card for the store I seleswagcted. This has been done with all my gift cards. The way I get my points is by doing the daily poll and completing the noso. You can earn up to 3 Swagbucks per day by doing these two. I also search and watch videos for easy Swagbucks. Rarely I will buy or sign up for something where I can earn more Swagbucks for those offers. One thing that I do not do on Swagbucks is the surveys. There is no reason that I do not complete the surveys only that I do so many surveys that I need a break and this site allows me the opportunity to earn rewards without always having to complete a survey.
    • It takes me around 1 month to earn a giftcard.

3. Inboxdollars– I love this site because it gives me the opportunity to make real money and not receive sweepstakes or gift cards. The payment is either a check or a card similar to a visa. This site gives countless opportunities to make money without having to do surveys like most sites, and they also give you a $5 bonus just for signing up!. My personal favorite thing to do on this site is to click  on emails and get payed $.02 for each email I click. Although iboxt may take a couple of days to earn a dollar it is so worth it because it is easy money. I also watch videos and earn $.01. Unlike Swagbucks I do the surveys offered on inboxdollars. I don’t qualify for a lot of the surveys but the ones I do I can make $.25-$5 per survey and the surveys are always available. The only bad thing is you have to cash out at $30 which depending on how much you do it can take a while. But after you cash out your first time($30) you can cash out on any amount.
  • Honestly it took me forever to cash out Rate:10

Selling clothes, shoes, or accessories

4. Poshmark & Merci– Are apps that I use to make money by selling my clothes, shoes, and accessories. I like beingFullSizeRender (6) able to control and interact with people with my personal items. I can better explain to them or ask them questions personally. Th evibe on these apps are amazing and everyoIMG_7519ne is so friendly. Each app has an advantage over the other. The only bad thing is that postmark takes 20% of what you make which can be lot for listing priced low. However Mercari takes 10% of your earnings. But when it comes to shipping, Poshmark has a flat rate of $4.99 on every order where as Mercari has different prices for different sized items. But both sites are amazing and I have earned money from both.

What’s in my Purse

I love purses!! I have used a purse since I was a little girl. Previously I invested in a really nice purse that transitioned me from a teen to a young adult. I have found that I use purses more often than I did before. Below are things that you can find in my purse. Let me know if you have similar things in your purse or totally different items.

Wallet- When I bought the purse they also had a matching wallet to go along. I decided to get the set, which also came with an umbrella. At times I don’t carry my purse with me, but will just grab my wallet. The wallet is so nice and classy that it can be used as a smaller version of the purse. I have had two coach wallets before and the quality is amazing. The last for a while and can fit so much inside. In my wallet I carry cash, my card, id, and coupons.

Notebook-I always think of the best ideas in the spur of the moment. Having a notebook near by, I am able to write these ideas down so I don’t forget them later. I also use my notebook for planning, reminders, and list. I’ve noticed when I write things down, I get them done faster and its easier to remember.

Phone- While I am out, I like to keep my phone in my purse. I’m the type of person who likes to grab things while shopping and since I do this, I am scared I may leave my phone somewhere. In an attempt to prevent this, I place my phone in my purse.

Keys- I always have my keys. Even if I’m not the one driving, I always have the,. Right now my key is a little basic, but I want to add more to accessorize it. The keychain I have on their now is from target. It is super cute and stylish!

Sunglasses-Investing in a really nice pair of sunglasses is one of the best things I’ve ever done. I use to have so many of the cheap sunglasses that I would just buy from anywhere. I had so many that I noticed they all were broken. I decided to invest in a more pricier pair so I could stop spending money on sunglasses & be ensured that they wouldn’t break so easily. I would defiantly recommend this. Sunglasses are an essential that you will always use, so why not invest in a pair that you can use forever.

Lotion- I love lotions and I make sure I always have one near by. During this past winter, my hands were dry so I invested in a nice brand to ensure my hands would stay moisturizer. I have been in love ever since. The lotions smell amazing and they give me the moisture I am looking for.

Lipstick-I always have a chapstick or lip balm with me. However, I am noticing more that I also have a lipstick or lipgloss with me also. There have been times when I am out and unable to go back home and put on makeup. Adding a lipstick or lipgloss adds to my look when I am in a hurry. I try to put lip products that don’t need to be applied with a lip liner in my purse.

Chapstick- This is an essential that you must have at all times. I have so many chapsticks that I use regularly. I am currently using a Burt’s Bees lip balm. I love how the lip balm moisturizes my lips while also giving it a tint of pink.
